Bangour Village Hospital was a psychiatric hospital in the 1900’s after the war. The last ward was closed in 2004. The closed hospital was used as a filming location for the 2005 film The Jacket, starring Keira Knightley and George Clooney.
I hated driving past here as a child.. :(
